State Street Elementary hosted their third annual Blood Drive for the American Red Cross. Over 50 people dodged the raindrops and donated blood for the Pint Sized Hero Program. We were able to donate 39 successful bags of blood to be used immediately at Sewickley Valley Hospital and the Medical Center. A special thank you to the parents and grandparents that supported this cause. Another thank you to our volunteers Gerri Casper, Barb Kincaid, Vicki LaValle, and Leslie VanDyke who worked tirelessly to make the day run smoothly.
