The students in the Ambridge Area School District have extensive opportunities to participate in Academics, Arts, and Athletics to promote student growth and reach their full potential.

Academics

Our curriculum and instruction actively engage students in problem solving and critical thinking skills. Advanced Placement and Honors courses are available. Additionally, cyber courses and college credit opportunities are offered.

Our curriculum is designed to enhance students’ cultural understanding and to develop an appreciation of theatre, music and visual arts. The District is renowned for its Fine Arts Program which encompasses a wide array of choral, drawing, instrumental, and steel drum courses.

Our athletic program sponsors teams that exemplify competitiveness, coaching, and sportsmanship. Ambridge is a member school of the WPIAL (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League)

Safety Protocols for After-School EventsThe northwest gate at Moe Rubenstein Stadium will no longer be used as an entrance or exit during football games. For all other events, only the main gate will be used.EvolvExpress will be used for most of the events at the high school. Wands maybe used as well. All people and items are subject to search prior to entering.Elementary and middle school age students must be accompanied by an adult at all times.All bags are subject to search.No free admission after any point in the contest (Ex. after halftime, after the 3rd quarter, etc.)If you to leave for any reason, a ticket stub will be required to re-enter. The same security protocols will still apply for re-entry.Tobacco, vapes, drugs, alcohol, outside food and beverages or weapons of any kind are not permitted on school property.Tents or anything that might impede the view for others in attendance are not permitted in the stands.Please remember that the goal of these policies and procedures is not to inconvenience anyone but rather to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience at all after-school events in the Ambridge Area School District.
