To begin using the Parent Portal, follow these steps:

1.Go to the Tyler SIS Student 360 web page: https://tyler.ambridge.k12.pa.us/TSI_Live_360

2.Log in with your username and password.

Parent or Guardian Username and Password

All primary contacts will have an account to access the Tyler 360 portal.   The username for the Tyler 360 PARENT Portal is the parent’s first name and last name separated by a period.   For example, if my name is Bob Smith, then my username is bob.smith in the Tyler 360 portal. If there is a duplicate contact name or user in the database, the username may be followed by a “1”.   For example, bob.smith1.

The password for the Tyler 360 portal will be your oldest child’s 6-digit student ID number. Once you log in for the first time, the system will prompt you to change it. We recommend that you change it to something you can remember.   If at any time, you forget your username or password, you can contact the helpdesk to reset it, by sending an email to: tylersis@ambridge.k12.pa.us.  Please include your name and the student name associated with your account in your email.

Tyler SIS Student 360 supports the following web browsers, using the latest versions:

o    PC with Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, or Chrome

o    Mac with Safari, Firefox, or Chrome

o    iPad with Safari

o    Android tablet with Chrome

If you have any questions about the Tyler 360 Parent Portal account, or problems logging on to the portal, you can send an email to tylersis@ambridge.k12.pa.us .  You may also call our helpdesk at 724-266-2833 x4357 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.   Please include your first and last name, student’s name, student’s grade, and student’s building, along with the issue you are having.

Tyler 360 Student Portal

The Ambridge Area School District is implementing a new Student Information System (SIS) this year for student data.   Tyler Student 360 offers parents, students, and district staff online access to student information via the Web on PCs or tablets or on a smartphone application — providing comprehensive functionality with a touch-friendly, intuitive interface.  Our portal will provide access to announcements, assignments, attendance, calendars, grades, schedules, and student details.

Or you may download the free Tyler SIS Student 360 Mobile app from Apple iTunes or Google Play.

Username and Password
All K-12 students will have an account to access the Tyler 360 portal.   The username for the Tyler 360 Portal is the student email address.   The student email address is the student’s network username followed by the student email domain (@ambridgearea.org).   All student email addresses follow the same pattern.  The first two characters are the intended graduation year.   The next two characters are the first two letters of the student’s first name.  The next string of characters is the student’s entire last name.  The last two characters are the last two digits of the student ID number.
The password for the Tyler 360 portal will be the student ID number.  The students will be prompted to change it when they log into the system.   We recommend that they change it to their network login password.   This is the password they use for almost all of the programs in the Ambridge Area School District.   However, this is just a suggestion.   Students can choose any password that fits the Tyler 360 password requirements.  See example below:

Support
If you have any questions about your Tyler 360 student account, or problems logging on to the portal, you can stop in Room 223 at the High School.  If you are not in the High School, you (or your homeroom teacher) can send an email to tylersis@ambridge.k12.pa.us.  You may also call our helpdesk at x4357.   Please include your first and last name, grade, and building along with the issue you are having.

Bridger Broadcast

Bridger Broadcast How-To

The Ambridge Area School District utilizes Blackboard MyConnect to send district messages electronically.   This service, affectionately named Bridger Broadcast, is used to deliver school and district information directly to parents and staff via automated phone calls, emails, and text messages.

This portal will allow you to customize your general outreach messages ONLY.   Cancellation and Delays are considered general outreach messages.

You can access our new MyConnect site by typing the following URL into the web browser on your computer: https://ambridgeareaschooldistrictportal.bbcportal.com/

Once the page is open, click the Sign Me Up! link to setup your account. Please note that in order to create an account you will need:

  • An active email address.
  • Your child’s student ID number (This is the ‘code’ they refer to) ex: 123456
  • The phone number or email address that we have on file for your student.

Once you have logged in, you can add any additional students you have attending Ambridge Area School District by clicking your name in the upper right corner and selecting Contact Information.  For a more detailed look at configuring your settings please view the how-to document on our website.

Please note, this portal only allows you to modify your general outreach message settings. Emergency and Attendance settings cannot be changed.

  • Emergency messages will be automatically sent to ALL contacts listed in Tyler for that student.
  • Attendance messages will be automatically sent to the current primary contact listed in Tyler and cannot be modified.    Please notify your building secretary of any changes to your contact information.
