Middle School Hall Monitor

Monitors student movement and interactions within hallways, classrooms, auditorium, gender specific locker rooms and rest rooms and other building facilities. Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures. Maintains discipline and a safe environment for students at all times. Assists students with managing behaviors and resolving conflicts. Reports serious student issues to administrators immediately. Communicates frequently with administrators regarding status, issues and needs. Reports safety, sanitary and fire hazards immediately to supervisor. Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with students, staff and community. Completes appropriate communication log(s) and required paperwork. Fulfill other duties and tasks assigned by supervisors. High School Technology Education Teacher

High School Girls' Varsity Softball Coach

The Ambridge Area School District has an opening for a Head Coach of the Varsity Girls Softball program. The Girls Softball team competes in and follows all PIAA rules and regulations. The Head Coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Qualified candidates should have should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of skills and strategies of the sport of softball as it pertains to interscholastic athletics in Pennsylvania. Prior Varsity coach or College coaching experience preferred. Coaching Certificates required by PIAA mandates. Act 34, 151, 114 fingerprints, pre-employment drug screening required. This is a 9 month position with additional days allotted for work during the summer months.
