Ambridge Area School District is excited to announce that we are the recipient of the 2025 Child Hunger Hero award from Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. This honor is given to schools and community partners who go above and beyond in feeding kids in our community. Ambridge Area School District has been awarded the Turnip the Beet SILVER award! The Turnip the Beet Award recognizes outstanding summer meal program sponsors across the nation who work hard to offer children high quality meals that are appetizing, appealing, and nutritious during the summer months.
Ambridge is part of an elite group of 199 sponsors nationwide who qualified for the Turnip the Beet Awards for 2024.
